Gigondas Les Murailles 2022 is a beautiful and characterful red wine from the southern Rhône, where the vineyards lie at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. The area is known as the “little brother” of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but delivers wines with plenty of power, depth and elegance .

In the glass, the wine appears deep ruby ​​red .

The aroma is intense and complex with layers of dark cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants , woven into nuances of black pepper, herbs, lavender, licorice and a light mineral note .

The palate is full-bodied, structured and harmonious , carried by ripe fruit aromas and warm spices. The tannins are firm but silky, giving both strength and finesse. The finish is long, persistent and spicy, with a touch of Provencal herbs.

Alcohol content: 15%
Grapes: Grenache (main grape), Syrah and Mourvèdre

Food pairing: Perfect with lamb with rosemary, beef stews, game and Mediterranean-inspired dishes with herbs . Also suitable for mature hard cheeses.

Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C and should be aerated before serving to open up all its nuances.
