Geils Grauer Burgunder 2023 Trocken from Weingut Geils in Rheinhessen is an elegant dry white wine made exclusively from Grauer Burgunder grapes, also known as Pinot Gris. The grapes grow on different plots of soil with calcareous marl and loess, giving the wine a perfect balance between power and freshness. The vines vary in age from young to over 30 years old, which adds depth to the wine's flavor profile.

After a traditional fermentation process and natural settling in steel tanks, the wine matures for 6 months in a combination of steel tanks (90%) and large, older wooden barrels and small barriques. This method preserves the wine's freshness and classic grape characteristics, while the wood adds complexity and structure.
