After a challenging vintage in 2017, Flor de Pingus is back in full production in 2018. Peter Sisseck chose to start the harvest a little earlier than many others, from September 16 to October 8, resulting in grapes that were both beautifully ripe and almost perfect.

Flor de Pingus is made from fruit from partially leased vineyards near Barrosso and San Cristóbal, which also contribute grapes to the famous Pingus. The vines here are between 40 and 60 years old, giving the wine a deep minerality and reducing stress during the dry summer months.
