Dictador Liberto Rum 44% American Oak Vintage 1996 is a unique rum experience.

The Libreto series, along with the Sinfonia series, represent the latest creations from Master Blender Hernan Parra. Each bottle is matured in American oak barrels, with some finished in Sherry or Port casks. These are vintage rums of world-class single cask quality.

The American Oak 1996 edition presents an aroma of soda with whipped cream, black tea, smoked bacon, fresh oak and fruity nuances of guava and lychee. The palate offers baked goods, saffron, cinnamon, cardamom and sweet notes of doughnut, toasted marshmallows, cocoa and oak. The finish is persistent with hints of ginger and oak/vanilla.

Dictador is a Colombian rum producer founded in 1913 by Don Julio Aango y Parra. Based in Cartagena on the Caribbean Sea, Dictador has refined its production and is today among the leaders in quality rum.
