Dalva was founded in 1862 and was acquired by the Brazilian company C. Da. Silva in the 1920s, marking the beginning of their global exports. In the 1970s, Dalva began growing their own grapes and built a winery, which significantly improved the quality of their wines. Today, Dalva is known for its excellent tawnies and white ports.
