Fleur de Clinet 2016 is a remarkable second wine from the renowned Château Clinet in Pomerol. This vintage presents a complexity with its deep ruby ​​red hue and a nose that includes fresh red berries such as raspberries, cherries and blackcurrants, as well as notes of black pepper and violets. The palate is a harmonious balance of acidity, soft tannins and ripe fruit notes, with black berries and a touch of brioche leading to a spicy and intense finish.

In a wine test from Berlingske, the wine was awarded 5 out of 6 stars, with a recommendation to let it mature for a few years to develop its full characteristics, although it already offers a wonderful tasting experience. The aroma is soft and inviting with nuances of blue plums, blackcurrant, cedar and graphite. In terms of taste, the wine is masculine and juicy, with a good balance between tannins and body, without losing its elegance.

Fleur de Clinet 2016 is a refined representation of Pomerol's unique terroir and traditions, and it will reach its full potential in 5 to 10 years.
