Château du Domaine de l'Eglise is an exquisite wine made from 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks and is aged for 16 months in oak barrels, 60% of which are new. It has a complex aroma with fruity sweetness that exudes classic Pomerol velvet and charm. The taste is full and harmonious after a little oxygenation, with nuances of dark berries, blackberries, dark cherries, forest floor, wood and vanilla. The finish is soft and persistent. Ideal with game dishes, grilled veal, beef, lamb and mature white cheeses.
