Château Carbonnieux Pessac-Léognan 2013 is a timeless Bordeaux wine from one of the most historic vineyards in the region. This wine presents itself with a deep ruby red hue and a fragrant bouquet that offers notes of blackcurrant, violets and subtle mineral tones. The palate is lively and full-bodied, with hints of fruit, grapefruit, strawberry jam and black cherries. The finish is persistent and harmonious.

The wine is aged for 15-18 months in French oak barrels. Château Carbonnieux has an average rating of 4 stars on Vivino, based on 40,000 reviews. On the 50 hectares dedicated to red wine production, Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 60% of the grapes, Merlot 30%, while the rest consists of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenère. The vines have an average age of 27 years.

Domaine Carbonnieux is a vineyard with a history that dates back to the 13th century. The red wines from this estate have undergone significant development in the past decade, offering a deep burgundy color with rich fruit aromas and a complex flavor profile.

It is recommended to decant the wine for half an hour before serving at a temperature of around 18 degrees.
