Borsao Berola is a sophisticated and intense wine, composed of 80% Garnacha and 20% Syrah from the renowned Campo de Borja area. After 14 months of maturation in both French and American oak barrels, as well as an additional year of bottle aging, the wine appears with a deep cherry red hue. The aroma is rich in ripe red and dark fruit, with subtle notes of black tea, coffee and vanilla. This wine is ideal for dishes with roasted or grilled meat such as lamb, beef or pork, accompanied by grilled vegetables and bearnaise sauce. It should be served at 15-16 degrees and can be stored for up to 10 years. Wine Spectator has awarded it 91 points. The flavor profile is full-bodied and fresh, with nuances of blackberry, blackcurrant, licorice, cocoa and earth. According to Politiken, it is an excellent alternative to Amarone.
