Banfi Aska is a modern interpretation of the Bolgheri area on the Tuscan coast, where the climate and cool sea breezes provide optimal conditions for Bordeaux grapes. The name Aska means “vat” in Etruscan and is a tribute to the history and culture of the area.

In the glass, the wine appears with a deep ruby ​​red color with purple reflections .

The aroma is intense and complex with dark berries such as blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry , accompanied by notes of violet, cedar, herbs, tobacco and a touch of licorice .

The palate is rich and structured with full-bodied fruit, elegant tannins and a well-balanced acidity . Here layers of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry and spices unfold, complemented by discreet barrel notes of vanilla, mocha and chocolate from the aging. The finish is long, persistent and silky .

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
