Badenhorst Secateurs Red Blend 2018
Discover the organic red wine Badenhorst Secateurs Red Blend 2018, which originates from the Swartland, about 65 km north of Cape Town. This area is known for its warm and dry climate, which contributes to grapes with intense flavors. The wine is a harmonious blend of Syrah, Cinsault and Garnacha Tinta, grown on old bush vines near the Paardeberg mountain. The winery is run by Hein and Adi Badenhorst, who focus on organic winemaking with minimal intervention. The grapes are hand-picked, undergo spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks and mature for 12 months in large wooden barrels. The result is a juicy and refreshing wine with aromatic notes of ripe red fruit.
