is a powerful and characterful red wine from Almansa in southeastern Spain, created by Bodegas Atalaya – part of the renowned Gil Family Estates.

Flavor profile:

Color: Dense, dark violet

Nose: Intense aromas of ripe blackberries, blueberries, licorice and spices with hints of dark chocolate and roasted notes

Taste: Full-bodied and concentrated with silky tannins and notes of black fruit, cocoa, herbs and minerality

Aftertaste: Long and structured with good freshness and warmth from the alcohol

Grapes and vinification:

Grapes: 85% Garnacha Tintorera (also known as Alicante Bouschet) and 15% Monastrell

Aging: Aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels

Alcohol: Approximately 15%

Perfect with grilled beef, lamb, game, braised dishes and strong cheeses. Also suitable for dark stews or spicy tapas.
