Anthony Rupert Cabernet Franc 2016

This exquisite wine is made exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes from the coastal region of South Africa. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. The wine is fermented and matured for 24 months in small French oak barrels, 60% of which are new, and bottled without filtration.

It offers aromas of blueberry and blackberry compote with subtle notes of herbs, flowers and earth. The palate is soft and elegant with nuances of blue and black berries, plum, spices and cedar. The wine is both structured and powerful, but at the same time well-balanced with a freshness and a persistent aftertaste.

Best served at 17-19 degrees. Perfect with spicy dishes, game, pork or lamb. It is recommended to let the wine air out for an hour before serving.
