Zeni Corvar IGT Rosso Veronese 2018 presents itself with a deep ruby red color that has subtle garnet red hues. The nose is filled with aromas of ripe red berries, sweet spices and a touch of vanilla. The taste is velvety and offers a harmonious complexity.
It is ideal for serving with red meat, braised meat, game, duck and both creamy and hard cheeses. It also works perfectly as a wine for cozy moments. For the best experience, the wine should be served at 16-18 degrees and aerated for at least 30 minutes before serving.
The wine originates from Verona and is made from 50% Corvina Grossa and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, which are handpicked at optimal ripeness. The grapes are dried into raisins before the traditional fermentation process, which lasts 2-3 weeks. The wine is then aged for 12-18 months in French oak barrels.
