A powerful and intense dessert wine, inspired by classic Port wines. Rich in flavour notes of dark fruits such as prunes, blackberries and a hint of spices and chocolate. Full-bodied, almost velvety texture with a nice balance between sweetness and acidity, giving a persistent, elegant finish. An excellent red wine representing the best quality of Cabernet Sauvignon from Stellenbosch. Deep aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and cedar, with subtle hints of tobacco and graphite. Intense and structured with firm but ripe tannins, which offer great ageing potential. A persistent and powerful finish makes it an obvious choice for dishes such as grilled beef, lamb or game, and it will also develop beautifully with further ageing.
