Talò Chardonnay 2023

This white wine is made from Chardonnay grapes from carefully selected plots in San Marzano and Salento, which are located around 100 meters above sea level on calcareous soil, which gives the wine its finesse and aroma. The grapes are harvested from mid to late August. After destemming and a short skin contact, the wine is fermented in steel tanks and matured for four months in French oak barrels with regular stirring.

The wine has a light golden color and an elegant aroma of white flowers, tropical fruits and a touch of vanilla from the barrel aging. The taste is delicate and fresh with mineral and slightly salty notes in the finish. It balances dryness, velvet, alcohol and finesse in an excellent way. Perfect with appetizers with seafood or fish, vegetable dishes, white meat and firm cheeses.

Talò Negroamaro 2022

This red wine is made from Negroamaro grapes from plots in Salento, located approximately 100 meters above sea level with a soil of clay, limestone and sand. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, typically in mid-September. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 4-6 months in French oak barrels.

The wine presents itself with a deep ruby ​​red color with purple hues. The nose is aromatic with notes of cherries, blackcurrants and plums as well as slightly spicy nuances of bitter chocolate and licorice. The taste is immediate and fruity with a spicy finish. A classic, rounded and harmonious Negroamaro from Salento. It goes well with vegetable dishes, beef, lamb or game, as well as mature white or red mold cheeses.

Talò Primitivo di Manduria 2022

This red wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes from plots in Taranto, located around 100 meters above sea level on a soil of clay, sand and crushed stones. The grapes are typically harvested in mid-September at optimal ripeness. Fermentation lasts about 10 days, followed by a gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for six months in both French and American oak barrels.

The wine has an intense, dark red color with violet reflections. The aroma offers ripe red cherries and plums with subtle hints of vanilla and cocoa. The taste is complex with notes of English liquorice, tar and chocolate, finished with a light exotic spice and a pleasant minerality. It is ideal with dishes with game, lamb or beef, especially when served with dark sauces and aromatic wild mushrooms.
