Ron Sostenible Rum 12 Years Cognac Cask

Ron Sostenible is a premium rum that achieves an ideal harmony between sweetness and depth. Its flavor profile includes nuances of figs, dates, raisins, caramel, vanilla, orange peel and spicy oak. This rum is matured for a minimum of 12 years in cognac barrels, resulting in a rich and smooth taste experience.

The name Ron Sostenible translates to "sustainable rum" in Spanish, and it is produced in the Dominican Republic at one of the most environmentally friendly distilleries in the world. The rum is made from the juice of pressed sugar cane, which improves both taste and quality. The distillery is powered by renewable energy and uses vinasse as a natural fertilizer. In addition, at least 50% of the CO2 generated during production is recycled.

The rum is transported by sailing ships powered solely by wind power. The bottles are made from 100% recycled glass, the labels are made from 100% recycled paper, and the stopper is made from recycled cork with activated carbon to reduce CO2 emissions.
