Peter Michael “Au Paradis” Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a fabulous, intense and elegant red wine from the renowned Peter Michael Winery in Napa Valley , California. The wine comes from the property’s Oakville Estate Vineyard , one of the most prestigious wine regions in all of Napa, where the soil consists of volcanic clay and stony gravel – ideal terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon with great complexity and depth.

The grape composition is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon , complemented by small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot , which add finesse and aromatic complexity. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before undergoing a traditional vinification with careful temperature control and long maceration. After fermentation, the wine is aged in 100% French oak barrels (around 60% new) for approximately 18–20 months , which contributes to the depth and structure of the wine.

In the glass, Au Paradis 2020 appears with a dark, dense ruby ​​red color . The aroma is intense and layered with nuances of blackcurrant, ripe blackberry, violet, graphite, cedar, pepper, mocha and a touch of tobacco and toasted oak .
