Established in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, Messias is renowned for its high-quality wines from the Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto regions. They also produce sparkling wines and aged brandy.

In the Douro Valley, Messias has 200 hectares of land, of which 110 hectares are dedicated to vineyards producing port wine and the Douro Quinta do Cachão. The company exports worldwide and remains under the management of the founder's family.

This port is distinguished by its deep complexity and dark golden brown hue. It is characterized by a sweet and smooth taste with fruity notes of sultanas and orange jelly, which are finely balanced by the spirit. The wine is more fruity than woody, which is unusual for a port that has been aged for 20 years. It is ready to be enjoyed now.
