Le Riche 'Richesse' is a South African red wine that presents an exciting version of a classic Bordeaux blend. It offers aromas of plum, cherry, pepper and pencil shavings, while the palate is rich with hints of berries, plums and a slightly smoky undertone. The tannins are soft and harmoniously integrated.
Le Riche is a family-owned winery, established by Etienne Le Riche in the 1990s, located near Stellenbosch on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains. As acknowledged 'Cabernet Masters', they select grapes from the finest terroirs in Stellenbosch to create high-quality wines with excellent aging potential. Production is limited to 8000×6 cases per year, of which the Reserve series only makes up 1000 cases.
