After harvest, the grapes were gently destemmed and crushed, then subjected to careful maceration to extract the most colour, tannins and aromas. The fermentation process took place in French oak vats at temperatures between 28-30 °C until the desired sweetness was achieved. The wine was fortified with brandy and has been aged in French oak barrels since 1952.

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz

Tasting notes: The wine presents golden tones with crystalline orange hues. It offers aromas of ripe fruit such as black plums, figs and peaches, as well as a sophisticated scent of forest flowers and fruits. The palate is intense with notes of bread and vanilla toast, and the finish is long with a remarkable balance between sweetness and acidity.

Storage and serving recommendations: Store cool and serve at a temperature of 12-14ºC.
