The Pinot Noir grapes used for this wine come from Tattendorf and Gumpoldskirchen, where the mineral-rich soil is perfect for growing red grapes. After being destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes undergo a short, cool skin maceration to enhance the color, aroma and flavor. The wine is aged for approximately 9-10 months in a mixture of large wooden barrels and used barriques.

The wine has a deep ruby ​​red color and offers delicate notes of raspberries, red cherries, wild strawberries and cranberries. The palate is rich in fruit with a crisp character, depth, mild spices and soft tannins. It is an excellent choice for dishes with pork, veal, game birds, pasta and risotto.
