Picaro del Aguila 2021 Viñas Viejas, Ribera del Duero

Experience an organic and barrel-aged top tempranillo that offers a juicy taste experience at an excellent price! Picaro presents itself with a deep cherry red color with subtle violet tones. The aroma is fresh and inviting with notes of rose petals, strawberries, dark cherries and blueberries, accompanied by fresh herbs and sweet spices from 11 months of barrel aging. The taste is full of juicy berry nuances, and the finish is long and intense with dense tannins and a hint of cinnamon and green tea.

Dominio del Águila is a renowned winery located in Burgos, Castilla y León, founded in 2010 by Jorge Monzón and Isabel Rodero. The winery focuses on producing wines that reflect their terroir, with minimal intervention and without the use of chemical additives. Their wines are known for their depth, complexity and elegance, which has secured them a place among the most respected small producers in the region.
