CWG Rust en Vrede Coenie Snyman 2017 Magnum

The grapes were carefully hand-picked from March 6th to 26th. The Cabernet Sauvignon was sorted and completely destemmed, while the Syrah was partially destemmed. Each plot and grape variety was vinified separately. Fermentation took place in open vats, with the cap being manually pressed four times a day. Maceration lasted between 14 and 30 days, followed by 22 months of aging in 300 and 500 liter French oak barrels. The wine was bottled on February 14th, 2019.

Rust en Vrede Coenie Snyman 2017 Magnum

Tasting notes: Aromas of cassis and raspberry are beautifully balanced with spicy cedar and cinnamon. The cassis flavor continues on the palate along with fresh currants. Chalky tannins provide a harmonious balance to the juicy and persistent mouthfeel.

Optimal drinking time is between 2024 and 2029.

The wine is delivered in an elegant wooden box.
