Corte Burè Amarone 2016, Italy

Experience the authentic taste of Amarone with Corte Burè Amarone 2016, which was named Christmas wine of the year in 2021 by both Ekstra Bladet and Spritnyt.com. The grapes for this wine undergo a drying process of 4-5 months, which reduces the juice content by over 40%. The wine is then aged in barriques and small casks for 30-36 months, and then matured in bottle for at least 12 months. It has a deep garnet red color and offers aromas of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. The taste is a harmonious blend of sweetness and acidity, with a long-lasting aftertaste of ripe fruit, plum, cherry and almonds. The wine is made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 10% Sangiovese, Croatina and Oseleta. For the best taste experience, the wine should be decanted for at least 4 hours and served at a temperature of 15-17°C. It is ideal for game dishes, grilled and roasted meats, as well as Parmesan and mature cheeses.
