Château Romassan, located in Bandol in the Var region, benefits from a subsoil consisting of marl, sandstone and limestone. The sunny and warm climate, combined with cool winds from the Mediterranean, creates optimal conditions for wine production. The property has 70 hectares of vineyards, where the grape varieties Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah are grown. The rosé wine is composed of 50-60% Mourvèdre, 20-25% Cinsault, 20-25% Grenache and a little Syrah, resulting in a wine that is both aromatic, complex and harmonious. It offers a soft and fruity taste experience with notes of citrus fruits and white peaches, and quickly develops a structured and spicy character with nuances of red berries, typical of Bandol rosé. The finish is long and harmonious. This wine is an excellent choice for dishes with fish, poultry in sauce, seafood or veal and should be served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees.
