Château Musar White is the house’s legendary white wine, which has achieved cult status among wine lovers worldwide. The 2016 vintage is another excellent expression of Musar’s unique style, created from the Obaideh and Merwah grape varieties – ancient, almost forgotten varieties grown high in the mountains of Lebanon.

The wine appears golden in the glass with complex aromas of dried fruit, nuts, honey, orange peel and a touch of wax and spices. With age it develops remarkable depth and an almost sherry-like complexity. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied with layers upon layers of ripe fruit, nutty notes, fresh acidity and a mineral nerve that ensures balance and structure. The finish is intense, long and persistent.

Château Musar White is a wine that can accompany everything from mature cheeses, spicy dishes and roasted poultry to fish dishes with depth and fat. It is also an experience in itself and develops beautifully over several decades in the bottle.
