Château Desmirail is a well-respected 3rd Cru Classé wine chateau with a history that dates back to the 18th century. After experiencing economic challenges during the Second World War, wine production was put on hold from 1940 to 1981. It was only when the Lucien Lurton family repurchased the property and the fields that production resumed. During the 1990s, the chateau underwent extensive renovation and modernization, resulting in a significant improvement in the quality of the wine. Today, the chateau is recognized for its excellent quality and receives high international ratings. The experienced oenologist Boissenot has advised the chateau for many years and contributed to creating a wine that is distinguished by its elegance and complexity.
