Rosso di Montalcino from Caparzo is a delicate Rosso di Toscana IGT Sangiovese, made from Sangiovese grapes from Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini's three Tuscan properties: Caparzo, Borgo Scopeto and Doga delle Clavule.

Vinification takes place in steel tanks, where a cool maceration for 48 hours ensures a rich aroma and fruit extract. After fermentation, the wine matures for 2-3 months in steel tanks and at least 1 month in bottle.

The wine presents itself with a ruby ​​red color with purple hues. The aroma reveals notes of wild strawberries, wild blackberries, pepper and vanilla. The taste is characterized by fruity nuances of ripe cherries. The wine can be stored for 3-5 years, but is already very expressive now.

It is ideal for pasta dishes, vegetable dishes, poultry, veal and light cheeses.
