Bonpland XO Rum

Bonpland XO Rum is an exclusive and complex rum that combines Caribbean craftsmanship with German finesse. Named after the German explorer and botanist Aimé Bonpland, the rum is the result of an unusual collaboration between various rum-producing countries and the German producer Capulet & Montague in Saarland.

Bonpland XO Rum is a blend of rums from Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica , which are aged for up to 20 years in their countries of origin, after which they are transported to Germany. Here, further maturation takes place in ex-Bordeaux wine barrels , which adds elegance and complexity.

Aroma: Rich and inviting with notes of ripe fruit, caramel, vanilla and light spice.

Taste: Soft, round and full-bodied with flavors of dried fruit, oak, toffee, dark chocolate and a slightly toasted character.

Aftertaste: Long and balanced with a subtle vinous note from the barrel aging.
