Muga Special Selection 2018

Muga Selección Especial 2018 is a sophisticated wine from Rioja, made from carefully selected grapes from Muga's finest vineyards: 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo and 3% Graciano. The wine has been aged for 6 months in wooden vats, 26 months in oak barrels and at least 12 months in bottle.

The wine offers a velvety fruit aroma with nuances of cherry, blueberry, herbs, earth and flowers, as well as a spicy undertone of vanilla, chocolate and tobacco. The taste is full and harmonious with a fine balance between fruit, spices, tannins, acidity and a light sweetness from the barrel aging.

For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to let the wine air out for a few hours and serve it at a temperature of 14-16 degrees. It is an excellent choice for dishes with veal, lamb or game, as well as grilled vegetables such as zucchini, eggplant and red peppers.
