Vega Sicilia Valbuena 2014 is an excellent vintage, earning impressive ratings from both Robert Parker and James Suckling, who both gave it 96 points. This wine is a fantastic choice with great potential for aging.

Valbuena is the youngest wine from Vega Sicilia, aged for 5 years from younger vines. It has spent 36 months in oak barrels and at least 2 years in bottle. The wine presents nuances of ripe cherries with orange edges and brick red reflections, which testify to its ideal aging and development.

The wine offers a complex aroma of red berries and a fruity taste, characteristic of a Vega Sicilia reserva wine. It consists primarily of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Merlot and Malbec, depending on the vintage. It is ideal for dishes such as roast lamb.
